DETROIT – May 29, 2025 – EPIC Health is proud to announce the grand opening of its newest, state-of-the-art health center at 4059 W. Davison Ave. on Detroit’s west side. This transformative facility will be formally introduced during a by-invitation-only ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, attended by city officials, healthcare leaders, and key community stakeholders.
Strategically located in an area historically underserved and designated as a health desert – this two-story facility is designed to close critical gaps in healthcare access and deliver high-quality, inclusive care to residents across the area.
The ceremony will feature powerful reflections from some of Detroit’s most influential voices. Deputy Mayor Melia Howard, Councilmember Fred Durhal, and Conrad Mallett, Jr., Corporation Counsel for the City of Detroit, will speak to their strong support of EPIC Health and the transformative partnership behind this initiative—underscoring a shared commitment to expanding access, advancing equity, and improving health outcomes across the city. Leaders from Focus: HOPE, COTS, and the Detroit Health Department will also share comments regarding their partnership with EPIC Health and the impact made throughout the city.
Following the formal program, guests will participate in a ceremonial ribbon-cutting, tour the new facility, and engage in networking with fellow leaders and advocates for health equity.
The first floor of the new center is equipped with modern exam rooms and labs to serve both new and existing patients with comprehensive primary and specialty care. The second floor, still in development, is envisioned as a flexible space for community engagement—further positioning EPIC Health as not just a healthcare provider, but a trusted neighborhood partner.
“This facility is more than bricks and mortar—it’s a symbol of our promise to bring quality care to every district of Detroit,” said Dr. Greg Naman, Co-founder and Chief Medical Officer. “We’re building a healthier future, one patient, one family, one neighborhood at a time.”
Dr. Ted Naman, Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer, added, “We’re integrating the latest in medical technology to ensure our patients receive the most efficient, compassionate care possible. From advanced diagnostic tools to intelligent digital health platforms, every innovation we adopt is designed with one goal in mind: to enhance the patient experience and improve outcomes. At EPIC Health, we believe that cutting-edge care should also be deeply personal— and that’s the future we’re building and bringing to this community.”
The new EPIC Health center is not only a healthcare hub—it’s a spark for revitalization. Its presence is expected to stimulate local economic growth, create jobs, and inspire further investment in the Russell Woods Sullivan area. A plan that includes a vibrant mural on the building’s exterior will reflect the spirit of the neighborhood and EPIC Health’s mission to uplift and empower.
“This is a turning point for our community,” said Melvin Chuney, President of the Russell Woods Sullivan Area Association. “It’s a sign that we matter—and that our health and well-being are a priority.”
